Packaging is the technology of enclosing or protecting products for distribution, storage, sale, and use. The awareness of importance of well made packaging is growing bigger and bigger. There are a plenty of creative and interesting packaging in the world. Our purpose was simple. Firstly, we focused on providing a package safe and clean from dirty. Second, we wanted it support the marketing of the product, with attracting potential customers. Before working to make a packaging, I researched and found various good packaging as followings.

Using our key colours, white and black, I created stripes with maintaining minimal concept. I felt that it is appropriate to our TOUCH gloves, which target is a wide range of clients(from students to senior citizen) who use public transportation.
Excellent packaging can attract more people. Based on above inspirations, I had started to think of our packaging design. Using our key colours, white and black, I created thin stripes with maintaining brand concept of minimalism. I felt that it is appropriate to our TOUCH gloves, which target is a wide range of clients(from students to senior citizen) who use public transportation.
It was our prototype which came up with idea promptly in the packaging lecture time. We should consider overall budget, so we drew a decision that just going easy.
I created a packaging design based on our prototype. When we made a mock-up, I used a striped notebook and this aspect leaded me to create stripes pattern. It contained some information of our product, such as country of origin, colour and size. I put our slogan – Don’t look for your card. just TOUCH – in front of packaging to let people know our glove’s particular function. I wanted to emphasis it’s speciality that you can put your oyster card into the pocket on gloves.
